My thoughts on people for my own clarity:

Sand Cat: I love talking with sand cat and genuinely get the impression that the feeling is mutual. She could just have a ridiculous social game and be playing me but it doesn't feel that way to me so hats off to her either way. Would very much like to have a strong alliance with her going forward. We've both basically said some stuff that verges on talking about going super deep with each other and I would very much like to hope that is real. I also recognize that this is a potential weak point for me, I could be very blind here if I take too much on faith and trust her too much.

Quokka: Quokka has very much kept me at arms length this game. Our chats have been cordial and somewhat strategic but not of any great depth and I do not consider them a close ally or someone that I particularly care if they stay or go.

Slow Loris: Slow Loris seems disconnected. Sand cat thinks that pika really likes them, which is interesting to me because I'm not super sure there's a lot of depth there to like. We've had some good chats recently in which I think I was able to make them think of me as someone as an outsider as well and hopefully there is an opportunity to work together based off of that if push comes to shove. Ultimately I don't mind them going a ton but I think I have real reasons to keep them around and I don't have a real reason to get them off.

Human Child: Human Child is just absent from my perspective. We had some intense conversation around last TC but since then its basically been nothing. I asked some questions on perspective from the other tribe and she answered that but her absence is beginning to become palpable. I see no reason to keep her around and I'm not super interested in working with someone like this.

To continue where I left off:

Pika: Pika is my alliance mate who I feel the best about. I feel like they've gone out of their way to tell me things that haven't really been necessary so at the very least I believe they want me to trust them and I don't really have a reason to distrust them right now and a lot of reasons to trust them. They told me about the capybara proposed alliance with quokka themselves and shrew. I'm not sure how solid our foursome is but I believe me and pika are tight.

Ermine: I like ermine a lot. I'm a little bit perplexed at the way she's playing because I have had multiple people say to me that they don't feel like she talks to them a bunch. I've had a similar experience but I feel like the conversations we've had tend to be pretty good, if brief. I've even told her directly that I think she needs to be a little more talkative because I think people are reading her as standoffish and I've had multiple people who I consider close express to me that she is someone they're a little weirded out by. At the same time, I've mentioned quite a bit here that she asked me to work with her and then asked to be in alliance with me and 2 other people (who did not think she talked to them much) very quickly so I'm a little worried that she has a bunch of arrangements, but honestly if I trust the people I'm working with to tell me stuff I'm not sure who that would be with.

Shrew: I like shrew and I asked them pretty quickly if they'd like to work together, and we ended up in the four person alliance together. I am a little weirded out that they seem to play their cards a little closer to the vest than my other alliance members. Pika for instance shared the thing about capybara, but elephant shrew was privy to it as well and didn't let me know. That's kind of a red flag sort of deal. If I had my choice of who is the bottom of the four to me it would be shrew because of that and not really any other reason.

Capybara: Capybara just doesn't talk about the game any more than necessary. It's extremely frustrating, and I know they're talking about it in other places because of the aforementioned alliance that was floated to pika and shrew. Probably want them gone.

Fennec: I think fennec and I are tight. We talked strategy earlier and I feel like he's been looking to me for what moves he's supposed to make. I highly expect him to give me information and I plan on passing on most information I hear to him as well. 

Worst possible timing for me on this. Seems like a really quick tribe swap but oh well. Generally happy with who i ended up with

I'm actually feeling reeeeeaaally good about this swap the more I'm talking to people. I think they're way more divided then me fennec and ermine will be and I even think that I'll be able to work with them really well to boot. Jerboa seems really nice and he's very willing to share lots of drama from the other tribe. Sounds like they were a lot more contentious over there than we were with Giant Panda being kind of the center of it all. Seems like I'll have to watch out for him later on down the line, maybe a decent person to eventually take out as a big move when the time is right, though thats obviously getting way ahead of myself.

Also we've decided that it's probably really important to try to find the idol this round. Seems like with a 3-3 they could very easily take us out if they find it and decide to all work together.

I don't really think that jerboa has an idol from the previous tribe based off of how he thought the vote was shaking up.

Finished my challenge. Only fucked up once but it was so shitty on a trackpad.

Sugar glider implied that they're willing to go to rocks but that's kind of what he has to say we'll see if that holds up when the shit hits the fan.

getting really vulnerable with jerboa. Told him about sand cat. Told him how I don't think I'm super planning on sticking with AP post merge. Told him basically everything.

I think this is the play I need to make to hopefully flip and avoid rocks when it comes to a TC. I even mean most of it. I like him and don't want to vote him. Feel less strongly about SG and don't care about WO at all, but I am much more invested in sticking with ermine than I am letting on. I just need to try to get numbers pretty desperately.

I'm not super digging how this 3 tribe even split thing sort of begs for things to be decided by idol play, but I guess that's just part of the game of survivor I don't love and its always going to happen to some degree. I hope we can play around it, I'm just not sure I see a path without flipping jerboa.
