Trying to determine who would have been the boot if we had to go to tribal today. Seems like a lot of people think slow loris but I am not so sure. I feel like the first boot being activity makes sense but as we get further along people will probably start thinking more strategically.

I actually think maybe capy would have been the name if I'm reading things correctly, but I think I would have preferred Quokka. They seem to be here a bunch but they have sort of avoided saying too much about me. Maybe even human child because of something similar, though I'm interested in giving her more of a chance to get acclimated.

I've ended up in a 4 way alliance with Ermine Shrew and Pika. Hard to read exactly what the dynamics of that group are. I think I'm the only one in it that was super connected to Ermine previously, so need to work to make sure pika and shrew don't think its defacto a group of 2 and 2. At the same time I'm a little bit worried that they were more working with each other than working with me so I need to watch out for that as well and keep my options open in case it becomes necessary for it to become a group of 2 and 2.
Still enjoying my conversations with sand cat a lot and ultimately would love if my eventual allegiance was with her. Struggling with whether I should tell her about the previously mentioned group yet but that would probably be a little too trusting and would give her a lot of power in the game if she wanted to blow me up.
Le sigh.

It's gone really quiet today and the end of yesterday. It's easy to chalk that up to everyone taking a bit of a break after the challenge win, but its also easy to chalk that up as DANGER.

I'm beginning to think Slow Loris could be a pretty big asset moving forward. I think if we go to another TC and she's on the block I'm going to have to work for that not to happen.
The names I'm definitely not interested in seeing go are:
Sand cat
ermine
elephant shrew
pika
fennec
slow loris
that leaves only a small group of targets in capybara, human and quokka, and I still get the impression that I could probably work with either quokka capybara or both. Human has basically done nothing to indicate they're interested in working with me.

I haven't vocalized this here yet but I do think i should be careful of ermine. They were quick to suggest we work together and even quicker to suggest that we work as a 4 together. It seems likely she has similar arrangements in other places.

So I have been told by pika that capybara has suggested a sort of 'rodent alliance' between himself, pika, elephant shrew and possibly quokka.
Don't know how serious that would ever be, and clearly capy picked the wrong person to include, though its always possible this is smoke and mirrors on the part of pika though it seems kind of unlikely pika would make this up given they have no particular reason to try to make me suspicious of capy right now.
Pika however didn't want to bring this up in the cute alliance because she's worried about ermine who basically hasn't talked to her at all since the whole thing was started.
Still digesting all of this but it looks like I'm in the clear of pika worrying that I am working with Ermine over her, but now I need to figure out ermine pretty urgently.
Feel like I'm playing a very strong social game though at this point and I'm pretty happy about it.
I'm starting to feel increasingly more and more guilty about not including sand cat in any of this because I do really feel an emotional connection with her which feels different from the other connections I've made in this game so far. Is that real? Who knows. Maybe they're not at all who they say they are and they just have a ridiculously good social game but I feel like we vibe so strongly.
idk mayne, survivor is hard.
