Ok, to answer the question there is a prevailing opinion this game that the social connections I've made are too deep. Part of why pika was voted out was that people perceived her as being too close to me. I feel really bad about that and I wish she had been more circumspect with how she portrayed our relationship to other people. I thought of her as a close ally but people in the game instead perceived us as a ride or die power couple sort of thing. (not in the non-game sense, obviously)

That coupled with my extremely tight trio with me and ermine and fennec made people (perhaps correctly, perhaps not) think that they wouldn't be able to get votes for me if they didn't make a move. Which was correct, it turns out. They just decided to come for pika instead of me directly. The result on the game is roughly the same. They have numbers. They have the ability to collude together on this immunity. They have everything, and this was all set up because if they let me get one more tc in the game with both pika and ermine/fennec I would have been in maybe an unstoppable position.

All of this is more or less word for word what I've been told both before and since so it has the same caveat of coming from, to my perspective, unreliable narrators.

I sensed that going into the vote though I didn't know to what extent people thought me and pika were together and I clearly didn't realize that dolphin was much closer to lorry than either of them were letting on.

My biggest mistake was thinking that pika slow loris and sand cat had to be working together in order to make a play. I figured if one of them was telling the truth they all were and if one of them was lying they all were, so I felt comfortable splitting the votes to play around an idol, because I figured it didn't matter anyway.

That was a huge mistake and I massively underestimated both slow loris and also her connection with dolphin. I was assuming that pika and slow loris were together, when it was more like slow loris and dolphin were together in a group of 3 with dolphin, and pika ended up being on the bottom.

There's a chance fennec and ermine jettison me tonight. Again, i would if i were them. But i hope not.
