No big ideas yet, kind of feeling a bit overwhelmed at the start. I'm going to mostly play up social game by just PMing everyone and having some convos and see where those go. Not sure exactly how much talking one has to do to not die immediately, but I'm going to err on the side of more activity. Not planning on making any big moves early, just getting in with some close 2s and 3s.

Only the most quality content scientifically and mathematically calculated to get the maximum enjoyment from you, [insert player name here] and for us the spectators at home. So let's just dive in, shall we?
1) It's been a few hours since the game started and I hope you've had a chance to talk to everyone. Is there anybody in particular who sticks out? Who do you like best? Who are you indifferent about? Do you have anybody you could gladly do without?
2) Everyone is such cute animals, aren't they? I just want to respectfully and affectionately pat every avatar there is. But, why do you think the animal that you are is the cutest? Is there any animal who you thought was cuter that you didn't get? Does your choice affect your strategy at all?
3) Much of this game has already been spelled out for you in advance, isn't that neat? Is there any mechanic you're most looking forward to? Any you're worried about? Do you have any specific plan going forward to best adapt to the upcoming twists and mechanics?
4) Everyone comes into a game with different skills or hopes and goals. What are some of yours? What are you looking to achieve? What skills are you bringing to the table?
5) If you had to describe your gameplay style as a weather phenomenon or natural disaster, which would you be and why?

~xoffyAlright, feel like I'm starting to get my feet under me a little bit. Having some decent convos. I feel like I'm vibing with shrew and pika and I've cautiously communicated that I'd like to work with them to both of them. I honestly have no idea if this is too early to start saying stuff like this, obviously I can't know who I can trust this early on, but I feel like I need to start forming some loose networks regardless. As to these questions: 1) I kind of answered this above but to the other part gecko hasn't really been around at all, might be a time zone thing, so I don't really have a lot to go off of there. Definitely not anyone who rubs me the wrong way yet. 2) The only thing I knew about animal choice is that I didn't want to be the human. That felt like so much work. 3) I'm still trying to puzzle out how the idol stuff is going to work. Looks like its not going to be a huge part of the game so that's cool, but I should still have some sort of strategy for how I should approach it and right now I've kind of got nothing. 4) I kind of want to avenge my performance in a previous iteration of survivor. I feel like I came in with some amount of naivete and didn't play to my maximum potential. I'm hoping with some more experience now I can better navigate the game and the people and not be so in the dark about what's going on. Honestly, I'm not expecting to win or even make the final or anything but I'll be really happy if I have a good idea where I stand even if I get eliminated. 5) Clouds. I'm just there, lurking in the background, waiting to rain on you and ruin your day. |

Getting really weird vibes with Gecko. They're just not around very much and they started this group chat for all the carnivores in the group. Seems like a pretty big thing to step out and do day 1.
