It's a surprisingly tough choice. A lot of the weakness of Ermine's game in my eyes is that the game she's played is one that is unlikely to garner the jury's respect. But if we're at tie territory, then that obviously isn't true! Yet Fennec played a very good game that was recognisable to me before FTC started and only looked stronger after their phenomenal performance.
I think you've both played very well. But one of you played slightly better, and the win also seems to matter to you slightly more.

I've gone back and forth on this tiebreaker decision all day. I don't have many questions about what Ermine's game is - I'm pretty sure what I've seen is what is there. And I've got respect for it. I am fairly bothered by your lack of competitiveness when it comes to the game, but I don't think it's stopped you from playing a rather solid UTR game. The way you played saved you in several instances, and I don't think you had many viable alternatives. So I'm happy with how you've played.
At first I thought Fennec's game was all-around an improvement on Ermine's game. It's definitely more recognisable as a game that would ordinarily garner merit. But I think I struggle a bit with how much Fennec wants to... I guess, have it both ways? They've played the loyal relationship game that Ermine has, but with a better strategic game than me... with the seemingly genuine lack of confidence in our conversations, I feel like there's something missing. Ermine's case feels like one I can appreciate for it's pure genuine-ness.
